CSS and CARP design

Introduction In this assignment I used the rules of CARP (contrast, alignment, repetition and proximity) to fix a generic html with a poem on it to make the newer, better looking, version of this page. Some differences included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. I also changed the size of text around the page it fit it better, and to wrap around the picture of the dog. Contrast Some differences referring to contrast included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. The darker brown text stood out against the light tan background. The black border around the page brought a neutral color that wasn't brown to the page, pulling the poem and other elements together. Alignment  To make the page aligned and flow all the...

My Personality Type

Myers-Bryggs type This personality test told me I was an ESFP. ESPF meaning extravert, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. Someone with all of these characteristics is usually friendly, caring and energetic. They are also good about expressing themselves and are confidant. An ESFP is sensitive to feelings and makes decisions based on how them and others feel rather than a more logical answer. I share a Myers-Bryggs type with Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. Me and my type My personality type I feel does generally describe me. I make decisions based on how I feel and I am very confident. WhileI feel I am an extravert in some ways , I also have a lot of characteristics of an introvert. This did show in the test results when it said 6% of extravert. While it was interesting to find out what type I was, I knew most of these characteristics about myself already. In real life situations I tend to do what the test says I do. I can lead a group confidently if had to, but I am easy...

A to B sequence video

Creative Process        This project started with an idea of why the actress was going to move from A to B. Once my team decided she would be trying to find the bathroom, we could decide where we were going to film to get the story across. After highlighting the route she would take on a map, we went out to film. We filmed over 4 minutes of video, but I had to edit it down to one minute, keeping all of the obstacles that she ran into on the way to the bathroom. I added music slowed down by 10% to make sure it fit the whole film. Technicality        The director filmed to video on an iPad and tripod. It took about 4 days to film everything. I added all the videos into Adobe Premiere. In order for the film not to come off boring, I switched between different angles and didn't keep many clips going on very long. Conclusion       In conclusion, I learned a lot about editing videos down to the right amount of time needed. I...

How to print video

"How to print" video project Creative process To start the process of creating a video,  you have to draw out how wide every shot will be (extreme wide shot to extreme close up) and in what location, making notes in what you want to do in the video. I needed six different shots to fill thirty seconds. After you take pictures, then video, making sure to leave extra time before and after each clip for editing. I edited out sound and added music, making the video thirty seconds exactly. Key decitions were chosen in a team effort, meaning we talked over how every scene will look before we filmed the actual footage. My role was to film video and work the tripod. Technicality  To capture the video, we used an iPad mini, a tripod, and Mac computer. For editing I used Adobe Premier. In the process I used the 180 degree rule and tried to make every frame a different kind of shot. In order to make the best project I could, I had to take leadership in filming because I was t...

My Website

Web Design Project I'm so sorry but my screenshots didn't upload.  Project overview This project took me about a week. I worked with coding and designing in Adobe Dreamweaver and created my own website. I posted many of my projects from previous assignments. Many of my animations I saved as a GIF and put on the project page. For the home page I put a picture of myself and an elevator pitch.  What I learned I believe I learned a lot from this project. I added links and codes and learned how to embed videos. I also learned how to connect text to a website. I added two pages together and connected them through links. The website product I am happy with and I believe I did well. The colors went together good and turned out pleasing to look at. Conclusion  I enjoyed this project and felt I got a lot from it. I hope to design more websites in the future.

Ten qualities GIF

Ten qualities GIF Process: This is a simple GIF of 10 of my good qualities. I used adobe photoshop and added multiple frames together. The computer did most of the work as I toke a frame with the word out of the picture, then a frame with the word in it. What I learned: This was my first step into animation and I enjoyed it. after working with some words, I experimented with transitioning in different way. I learned how to move and turn objects how I want them to. Conclusion:  I am satisfied with the project. It helped me with time management and helped me better understand computer animation.

Sketchup House

My SketchUp house Link to the original house  https://www.houseplans.com/plan/869-square-feet-2-bedrooms-1-bathroom-southern-house-plans-0-garage-36978 Textures Project This project took a couple weeks to make. I used the program Sketchup to design and create my house. I based the structure off of a house I found on houseplans.com. To make the house, it took basic shapes being bent into more complex ones. I finished by using seamless designs found on google and painting the structure.  What I learned My ability to work with 3D design got better during this process of making a house. I learned to be patient and pay attention to detail. I also learned how to turn and 3D design into an animation.
