How to print video

"How to print" video project

Creative process

To start the process of creating a video,  you have to draw out how wide every shot will be (extreme wide shot to extreme close up) and in what location, making notes in what you want to do in the video. I needed six different shots to fill thirty seconds. After you take pictures, then video, making sure to leave extra time before and after each clip for editing. I edited out sound and added music, making the video thirty seconds exactly.
Key decitions were chosen in a team effort, meaning we talked over how every scene will look before we filmed the actual footage. My role was to film video and work the tripod.

Technicality

To capture the video, we used an iPad mini, a tripod, and Mac computer. For editing I used Adobe Premier. In the process I used the 180 degree rule and tried to make every frame a different kind of shot. In order to make the best project I could, I had to take leadership in filming because I was the only one who could see behind the camera to make sure it looks good.

Conclusion

I learned a lot from this project about filming and editing. When I thought I was done there were many re-edits I had to do, including a change in music.

My logo design

My Logo Design Process:  This project took time and energy. It had multiple steps in the process and had me create a large amount of different logos. The first step was to roughly sketch some ideas I had for the design. It took a couple days until I had an idea of what my logo could looks like. The next step was to bring everything sketched out onto Adobe Illustrator. Using the font myriad pro I edited the letters "ML" in different ways, and used recources such as the pen and curvature tools until I was happy with the way it looked.  After satisfied with the logo, I added different colors to see what it looked like in all styles. With editing, I found I liked the color on top of grey look. After top three choices were picked, I used an outline to see what each looked like as a final product.  Why I chose my logo: My final decision came to hot pink letters over a light grey circle and a very thin black outline. I chose...

CSS and CARP design

Introduction In this assignment I used the rules of CARP (contrast, alignment, repetition and proximity) to fix a generic html with a poem on it to make the newer, better looking, version of this page. Some differences included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. I also changed the size of text around the page it fit it better, and to wrap around the picture of the dog. Contrast Some differences referring to contrast included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. The darker brown text stood out against the light tan background. The black border around the page brought a neutral color that wasn't brown to the page, pulling the poem and other elements together. Alignment  To make the page aligned and flow all the...

High School Film Trailer

Project                 For this project I was tasked with recreating a movie trailer of a high school based movie. My group was assigned the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". We had the option of which official trailer we wanted to recreate. After some research, my group found the most reasonable trailer to make and started pre-production.                 Before we could start filming, there were many steps to make sure we could recreate the trailer perfectly. Unfortunately, we found that it could not be directly replicated as there were many shots that we couldn't do. I started with creating a story board of every scene in the edited trailer. Then, as a team, we wrote down all costumes and props. Finally, we cast rolls and made sure people would be available before giving them the part officially. Our group decided to keep most of the casting inside the group but we did get two adults and two students ...
