My logo design

My Logo Design

Process:

This project took time and energy. It had multiple steps in the process and had me create a large amount of different logos. The first step was to roughly sketch some ideas I had for the design. It took a couple days until I had an idea of what my logo could looks like.

The next step was to bring everything sketched out onto Adobe Illustrator. Using the font myriad pro I edited the letters "ML" in different ways, and used recources such as the pen and curvature tools until I was happy with the way it looked.

After satisfied with the logo, I added different colors to see what it looked like in all styles. With editing, I found I liked the color on top of grey look. After top three choices were picked, I used an outline to see what each looked like as a final product.

Why I chose my logo:

My final decision came to hot pink letters over a light grey circle and a very thin black outline. I chose the large block letters to show personality and they are very noticeable. The font I started with was basic and easy to change and bend. I chose a circle in the back because I wanted to pull the logo together, and it made more attention draw to the letters. This is why I used light grey, so it wouldn't stand out, but it would also be noticeable. Grey also represents calm feeling. Pink stands out and represents passion and love.

High School Film Trailer

Project                 For this project I was tasked with recreating a movie trailer of a high school based movie. My group was assigned the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". We had the option of which official trailer we wanted to recreate. After some research, my group found the most reasonable trailer to make and started pre-production.                 Before we could start filming, there were many steps to make sure we could recreate the trailer perfectly. Unfortunately, we found that it could not be directly replicated as there were many shots that we couldn't do. I started with creating a story board of every scene in the edited trailer. Then, as a team, we wrote down all costumes and props. Finally, we cast rolls and made sure people would be available before giving them the part officially. Our group decided to keep most of the casting inside the group but we did get two adults and two students ...

My Personality Type

Myers-Bryggs type This personality test told me I was an ESFP. ESPF meaning extravert, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. Someone with all of these characteristics is usually friendly, caring and energetic. They are also good about expressing themselves and are confidant. An ESFP is sensitive to feelings and makes decisions based on how them and others feel rather than a more logical answer. I share a Myers-Bryggs type with Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. Me and my type My personality type I feel does generally describe me. I make decisions based on how I feel and I am very confident. WhileI feel I am an extravert in some ways , I also have a lot of characteristics of an introvert. This did show in the test results when it said 6% of extravert. While it was interesting to find out what type I was, I knew most of these characteristics about myself already. In real life situations I tend to do what the test says I do. I can lead a group confidently if had to, but I am easy...

CSS and CARP design

Introduction In this assignment I used the rules of CARP (contrast, alignment, repetition and proximity) to fix a generic html with a poem on it to make the newer, better looking, version of this page. Some differences included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. I also changed the size of text around the page it fit it better, and to wrap around the picture of the dog. Contrast Some differences referring to contrast included changing the text and background color to match the dog. I used the same colors for multiple areas on the page to make it look clean and the same all the way through. The darker brown text stood out against the light tan background. The black border around the page brought a neutral color that wasn't brown to the page, pulling the poem and other elements together. Alignment  To make the page aligned and flow all the...
